"I have a vast, vast array of interests," she says, spelling out her suitability for the job to The Age. "I'm a student of, you know, what life is. How does matter form? Why are we here? You know, philosophical issues."
She denies outing a homosexual staff member and volunteers that she is lesbian herself, but in a sexual relationship with a gay man. "It's fair to say that I am an interesting person," she says.

I read this article today in The Age about a local council here in Melbourne that employed a strange strange lady to review their management structures and ended up basically ruining the organisation! Check out these quotes from the article:

Hmm. What's your point, Chris? Are you saying that the reason she was bad at her job was because she was gay?
ReplyDeleteNo. Of course I'm not saying that. I merely quoted those two sections of the articles because the indicated to me that she seemed to speak in riddles, not rational thought. How does one be a Lesbian whilst being in a sexual relationship with a "gay" man? Likewise, outlining your credentials for the job by saying "you know" every couple of words doesn't speak highly of competence either!
