Last night at church i preached on Phillipians 3:1 -4:1
I talked about how Paul tells us that we should put our trust in knowing Jesus, not in following rules.
I also talked about how knowing Jesus is about knowing the power of his resurrection and sharing in his sufferings.
Then i said that we should imitate Paul. By being passionate about people who don't know Jesus and reaching them, by eagerly awaiting the second coming and by living a Godly life.
Then i encouraged everyone to Stand Firm in the Lord! Seeking to join with God on a journey to become more like Jesus.
I think that was pretty much it in a nutshell. I had some really positive comments back afterwards so that was nice!
